		<description>The above alone did not fix it for me. I run Ubuntu 10.04 64-bit. On suggestion from other forums I installed Sun 32-bit java (under 64-bit ubuntu, and yes, Sun not OpenJDK). That fixed it for me. 

Specifically the package ia32-sun-java6-bin and its many dependencies for 32-bit compatibility under 64-bit linux.
